Dudley Angling Society was formed 125 years ago by a group of like minded anglers who were passionate about river fishing.

From that small beginning the DAS started to grow and over the years eager anglers from far and wide applied to join the club.

For long periods there were waiting lists to join and prospective members would have to face the committee for an interview before being given the opportunity to become a club member.

As well as the individual fishing the clubs contest calendar was always full. During the good old days it was not uncommon to have club contests with over 100 anglers taking part. This of course at a time when the club had control of a much larger section of the river.

With numbers of anglers preferring to fish for carp these days our club has decreased in size but we are still a dedicated traditional river angling club.

The DAS stretch today is a little smaller but is still a fantastic place to catch fish in the natural surroundings of the Worcester countryside.

As well as yearly memberships we also offer day tickets and our bailiff is on hand every day to help and offer advice.

Please feel free to get in touch with us for further information and thank you for your interest in our club.

**IMPORTANT** No Barbel to be kept in keepnets. Unhooking mats are compulsory at all times. No exceptions.
